High quality bulletproof UHMWPE UD fabric
Application
High-strength and high-modulus polyethylene fiber, also known as ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber, is the third-generation high-performance fiber after carbon fiber and aramid fiber. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber is the fiber with the highest specific strength and specific modulus among the industrialized high-performance fiber materials. It is a fiber spun from polyethylene resin with a molecular weight of more than 1 million. It has good flexibility, good mechanical properties under high strain rate and low temperature, and its impact resistance is better than that of carbon fiber and aramid. It is an ideal bulletproof and stab-proof safety protection material.

Characteristics
Advantage |
Disadvantage |
Ultra high strength |
The melting point is between 145 and 155℃, and the lower melting point limits its application range |
Good thermal conductivity |
Poor creep resistance of material molecules, low Young's modulus, intermolecular slip occurs when material molecules are stressed, resulting in poor fiber creep resistance |
Light weight |
|
Chemical resistance |
The composite adhesion of the material is poor. Since the molecule does not contain other polar groups and the structure is simple, it is difficult to generate a strong force between the two materials when it is composited with other materials. When modifying UHMWPE materials It is more difficult to combine with |
